Small stop off along the river; frequented by anyone moving goods between Riverhaven, Zwei Hugel, and Bayford. Managed and protected by a large, hairy man by the name of Odo Bristleback. Stays relatively unmolested despite standing in a wilderness rife with dangers.
The party created quite a stir when they released a group of bandits from within the nearby Mouth of Doom. The heroes expected the bandits to turn themselves in for their bounty, but instead, they went into ZF to secure supplies. Two of them were detained because they were caught red handed by Ysbel, a serving girl from the Bristleback Inn who had an eye for young Three. Unfortunately, the thieves overpowered the defenseless girl, and they murdered her with a pair of kitchen shears. Ysbel’s cries of agony drew the attention of the town guard, who surrounded the house and apprehended the murderers. When the heroes exited the Mouth of Doom, they found the scene as it had just unfolded, and they had to navigate an angry mob who wanted justice for the jewel in the rough, Ysbel, who was taken in the prime of her youth. Luckily, they squared away with Odo, who smoothed things over for the villagers of ZF and admonished our heroes to please, in the future, carefully weigh the repercussions of their actions against the weaker populace of the locales in which they adventure.
